William J. Dealy (1946-2012)
William Dealy infused this firm, which he founded, with his love for the practice of law and his dedication to the needs of his clients. A fierce advocate for those that he represented, Bill still managed to gain the respect of and form strong personal and professional bonds with his adversaries.
For more than four decades, Bill was a corporate litigator and counseled numerous clients on labor relations and employment law. He represented many unions in New York City, as well as the Empire State Beer Distributors Association and the Associated Brick Mason Contractors of Greater New York, Inc. He litigated many Title VII and Title IX cases, and represented clients in major federal and state litigations and arbitrations pertaining to Taft-Hartley multi-employer benefits funds, withdrawal liability pursuant to the Multi-employer Pension Plan Amendments Act (“MPPAA”) and arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”).
Bill also represented clients in many corporate and labor relations matters concerning the construction, waste disposal and recycling industries in and around New York City.
DSB will carry on Bill Dealy’s legacy of serving each client’s needs by working collaboratively with each client, and providing excellent legal services economically– guided at all times by the client’s best interests and objectives.
