Dealy Silberstein & Braverman, LLP, a litigation and employment law firm with offices in New York City and Westhampton, is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda E. Maguire, Esq. to the position of Partner with the firm. The firm is also excited to welcome back Maria Louisa Bianco, Esq. as a Partner.
Both Amanda and Maria Louisa are highly respected attorneys in the legal community and have been assets to DSB for many years.
Amanda is a skilled advocate for clients in commercial litigation and employment litigation matters including discrimination based on disability, age, race, gender and pregnancy, retaliation, sexual harassment, wage and hour and whistleblowing. She also represents multi-employer funds and contributing employers in delinquent contribution and withdrawal liability claims.
Maria Louisa represents and advises clients in labor and employment matters, including workplace issues such as proper pay practices, employee classification, discipline, termination and leave. She also drafts employment policies and agreements including company handbooks, commission agreements, non-competition and non-disclosure agreements and employment, severance and consulting agreements.
Amanda graduated cum laude from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University with honors in Procedural Law and Labor and Employment Law.
Maria Louisa graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar.
Amanda and Maria Louisa have each been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2018 to 2020.
